Fun Stuff

In addition to our technical meetings, we hold a couple of really fun social events as well.

Golf Outing

In June of each year we hold the Jack Burrow Memorial Golf Outing.  It is always the second Thursday in June, and we host up to 400 golfers at Maxwelton in Syracuse, Indiana  You will find our golf outing to be the most reasonably priced Rubber Group Outing in the country, and of course, one of the best as far as having a great time with Rubber Industry people from all over the Midwest.  There is always a nice door prize for everyone who attends, a great dinner,  a drawing for some nice prizes, and many, many golf prizes:  Low gross, a couple of closest to pins and longest drives, a Blind Bogey, and a Peoria.  There are morning and afternoon tee times, and golf carts are included.  You can choose play golf and have dinner, or dinner only.  Dates for the golf outing are (it's always the second Thursday):

Guest Night

Our December meeting is Guest Night, to which members are encouraged to bring spouses, friends, significant others, or co-workers.  There is no Technical Meeting.  We start off with a Wine and Cheese tasting at 6:00 P.M., followed by a splendid dinner at 7:00 P.M., and entertainment by various local groups after dinner, followed by dessert.  Guest Night is held on the first Thursday of December.
