"The purpose of this organization shall be to provide a means of exchange of technical information, for the expression of experience and opinion, and for discussion of news of the industry between people interested in rubber, plastics, and associated industries. The aim of this organization shall be to accomplish this purpose by promoting educational, social, and recreational meetings for members in a friendly and interesting manner."

Founded in 1951, the Fort Wayne Rubber and Plastics Group is dedicated to education, whether it is furthering the career potential of our membership, or helping high school and college students discover opportunities in the Rubber and Plastics Industry.  We hold four Technical Meetings every year, to which we invite industry specialists to share the latest news and innovations.  In addition to these regularly scheduled meetings, we hold an Educational Seminar each Fall.  The seminars cover a diverse range of topics, including basic compounding, technician training, and in-depth topical seminars, presented by industry specialists.  We also provide scholarships for members to attend Rubber Division Meetings, and for college students to enter degree programs tailored to the Rubber Industry.

We currently have nearly 300 members, which makes us one of the largest Rubber Groups in the country.  We are split almost equally between suppliers and manufacturers.  Click on any of the links to learn more about us!
